Quintetto composto da Daniela Turchetti (voce) Luciano Orologi (sax soprano e tenore), Riccardo Notazio (chitarra e arrangiamenti), Luca Necciari (contrabbasso), Roberto Forlini (batteria e percussioni).
Il progetto propone brani pop/rock con arrangiamenti originali in chiave Jazz e Latin Jazz, spaziando da The Clash, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, The Police, The Beatles e altri. Proprio da qui deriva il nome "My FavouriteSwing".
I brani sono rivisitati completamente come fossero degli standard appartenenti alla tradizione jazzistica, con sonorità nuove rispetto agli originali, lasciando però all'ascoltatore quel “sentore famigliare” che spesso risulta una formula apprezzata. Tra la sperimentazione e la ricerca di nuove sonorità, vedere il rock attraverso una nuova ottica ricca di contaminazioni e influenze, proprie del linguaggio jazzistico, presentando un progetto diverso, fresco, dinamico e coinvolgente.
Nel 2012 sono ospiti del network statunitense “BlogTalkRadio” all'interno del programma “DrCal hour of insight”. Scrive Cal Huge: “The acoustic live sound of jazz is explosive because of the fresh interpretations of classic rock tunes. The smooth vocal approach of Daniela Turchetti, gives their music an edge not often found.”
All'attivo numerosi concerti in locali e manifestazioni della provincia e non (tra cui: Est Film Festivalwww.estfilmfestival.it ) Notte delle Candele, M.A.S. -Musica, Arte e Spettacolo-, Noteverde Club -TR-, Pazza Idea -SP- etc.) e varie inviti radiofonici, da emittenti italiani e internazionali, per interviste e la trasmissione di alcuni dei loro brani, oltre a varie interviste per riviste musicali e culturali.

The project proposes pop / rock songs with original arrangements in key Jazz and Latin Jazz, ranging from The Clash,Nirvana, Michael Jackson, The Police, The Beatles and others. From here the name "My FavouriteSwing" (pun on the famous Jazz Standard "My Favourite Things").The songs are revisited completely as if they were standard belonging to the jazz tradition, with new sounds than the originals, however, leaving the listener that "family inkling" that is often a formula appreciated. Between experimentation and the search for new sounds, see the rock through a new rich of contamination and optical influences, typical of the jazz language, presenting a different project, fresh, dynamic and engaging. Many concerts in clubs and events in the province and not several radio calls from Italian and international broadcasters, for interviews and reporting of some of their songs, as well as various interviews for music and cultural magazines.
